The Hills

More to come.

On the way down.

One of the places we visited. Nick taught on baptism and they are reading through the story of Phillip and the Ethiopian; a first time hearing/reading this story we were told. They practiced telling this story to each other.

One of our first stops; there was a fellowship here we visited and then hiked down to the bottom of this picture, haha! Wow..my legs are incredibly sore. Most of what you see here is tea gardens; most of these pictures are all tea gardens.

Greetings to you again,

I hope that your day is well; I am very happy that you have checked in with us. We have been gone the past few days; into the hills we went with some national partnerships. We went to serveral different areas, by trekking mostly, and had the opportunity to see church plants and to encourage believers. It is amazing to see how God is using people here to further His kingdom and how much He doesn't need me...yet, He has still allowed me to a part of it. We absolutely love the areas we have been traveling in. Me, being a huge tea lover is in heaven here. I got to walk by the big factories that make Darjeeling tea...in Darjeeling. I sat and watch women pick tea leaves on incredibly steep ledges. I was able to encounter my first strike that prevented me from finding transportation home (Where we live, there is a quest for the people's land here called Gorkhaland; the people who live in the hills. They are constantly striking to get their land back, but the government is not giving it back,) Always a battle. So, it was all an adventure.
