Me-hee-ko / Biking

I think most of our traveling is finished. . . Weird. We have started applying for jobs. Applying for school. Applying for about everything it seems like! We've been back in the States for almost two months and it has FLOWN by!!! I feel like we have gone through our own forms of reverse culture shock and we are finding our own groove of life one could say. It has been really good. We've been incredibly blessed by our awesome family, friends, and our wonderful church family. This is definitely a new season in our life and I'm thankful that the Lord bestows abundant grace and mercy on His children. Life has been pretty awesome to say the least! I know that these next few years will be full of school and work, but it is completely refreshing and reassuring that my purpose is not school or my job doesn't define my life. May my life reflect the Gospel and how it continuously changes me. When I so easily become overwhelmed with life and all that it seems to demand. . . this is what I have to meditate on.

Our pastor left me hanging on this last part of his teaching on Sunday when he asked, "where is your focus?"

Before we left to go to India; our bikes were conveniently snipped out of their chains from our back porch. So, this week we decided to rekindle our love for bike riding. Dec. 1st was a beautiful day for riding and loved every minute of the trails. I also became well acquainted with the ground again, curled up like a fetus on the side of the trail because I am skilled in falling.

After we went on our cruise we went on vacation with Nick's family. it was AWESOME!! We stayed at a resort and took a day trip to the beach spot pictured above. This was the most beautiful water I have ever seen. It was a pretty good way to experience reverse culture shock!
The fam. They are awesome.
